Standard of Basic Anesthetic/Intraoperative Monitoring

1. We use monitor during anesthesia to improve patient safety, improve quality of anaesthesia, ensure good analgesia and avoids awareness. Therefore qualified anesthesia personnel must be present in the room throughout the conduct of all general anesthetics, regional anesthetics, and monitored anesthesia care.

2. Evaluation of the patient's oxygenation, ventilation, circulation, and temperature continually.

  • Additionally and optionally monitoring of neuromuscular blockade, respiratory gases, urine output as part of oxygenation ventilation and circulation
  • Monitoring of anesthetic equipment
  • Insure adequate tissue perfusion
