Timing of spray operation

In areas where malaria transmission is seasonal, IRS should be completed just before the season begins.  In areas where the main transmission season is from September to late November, spraying must be completed in August at the latest. For areas with a different malaria transmission pattern, the timing of spraying should be adjusted in consultation with malaria experts.
