Introduction

In session I you have learned the structure, components and activities of emergency medical service system, which is mandatory for the successful management of emergency patients. During this session you will be able to develop knowledge skill and positive attitude on how to assess, level and mange emergency patients according their severity and need. Emergency patient's assessment is quite different from assessment of cold patients; it is because for emergency patient 'treatment within the golden hour is very important to save life and limbs. Therefore to minimize wastage of time and to facilitate fast intervention emergency patients assessment and intervention is organized differently.
