Introduction

In the previous sessions of this module, you have discussed food and nutrition, nutritional requirements of different groups of people and the burden of nutritional problems in our country. As you already know from the course of health education, there are various methods of communication. You have also learnt that one of the prevention strategies of nutritional deficiency diseases is the provision of nutritional education. To deliver intensive nutritional information, appropriate communication method should be employed.

As a health extension worker, one of your responsibilities is providing nutritional information to the community in which you are working. In this study session, you will learn about the different methods of nutritional communication.
