Introduction

In this study session, you will learn about the most common abnormal presentations (breech, shoulder, face or brow), abnormal position, twin pregnancy and its complications, how you diagnose them as well as the required management actions you need to take to prevent complications developing during labour. If the delivery becomes obstructed, taking quick action will save the lives of the mother and her baby.
