Establishment and organisation of Youth Recreational facilities:

Recreation refers to the time spent in an activity one loves to engage in, with the aim to feel refreshed. It is, therefore, important to establish youth recreational centres with rooms and other spaces for traditional and modern sports activities and meetings. This will keep away the youth from spending their valuable time in the harmful environment. The establishment can be done through the involvement of the youth and other community members. Discussions should be made with these people to identify the needs of the youth in your community. The identified needs then are prioritised depending on the prevailing situations. You may be required to develop a proposal on the prioritised needs to formally communicate with relevant government and non-government organisations.

Here are some commonly used recreational activities, categorised into two groups namely, indoor and outdoor activities. There are much more which could be added to the lists, but these are the first things that come to mind when one thinks of recreating outdoors or indoors. The following table lists these commonly used indoor and outdoor recreation activities.
