Presentation: regarding the part of the fetus presenting to the maternal pelvis (the part of the lower pole of the uterus), the normal presentation is vertex while the abnormal ones are breech, face, brow and shoulder. The vertex is bounded by the posterior fontanels, the parietal eminences and the anterior fontanels.
