• Anatomy: The study of the structure of the body and the relationship among the parts.
  • Genital organ: The external organ for reproduction (penis and testes in male, the vulva in females). Also called genitalia, genitals.
  • Physiology: The study of the function of the body.
  • Pelvic: The strong basin shape ring of bones near the bottom of the spine.
  • Reproductive organ: Part of the bodies of men and women which are involved in the conception and development of the foetus.
  • Skeletal system: The organ system that consists of the bones, ligaments and cartilage; supports the body and is framework for muscle attachment.

Anterior: in front of

Inferior: below

Posterior: behind, at the back of

Lateral: away from the midline (sides, edges)

Medial: towards the midline of the body

Superior: above
