In the previous sessions you have come up with concepts of health education and health promotion. You have also discussed about c concepts, principles and stages of community participation; which is deals with how to involve community members in our health education and promotion programs.

Now you will learn how to assess health education, health information and health promotion needs of your community. This is a baseline for appropriate health education and health promotion program development. You will also learn about using assessed need for audience segmentation according to their needs.
