Introduction

In this session, you will learn about the basic concept of health, health education, and health promotion. You will also learn about rational for giving health education and targets, settings and goals of health education which you should consider before delivering your health education sessions. In the end, you will see the roles of health HEWs as a health educator in a certain community.
