Observation - ትዕዝብቲ

ሓደ ነገር ንምረዳእ እትገብሮ ከይዲ ትዕዝብቲ

Obstruction - ምዕጋት ወይ ድማ ምዕፃው

A condition of being blocked or clogged. An obstructed gut is a medical emergency.

ኩነታት ምዕጋት ወይ ድማ ምዕፃው ንኣብነት ማዓንጣ ደቂ ሰባት ክዕፆ ወይ ድማ ክሕተም ከሎ ጊዜ ዘይህብ ሃንደበታዊ ሕማም እዩ

Occipito-posterior - ኣብ ጊዜ ወሊድ ዳሕረዋይ ሸኾና ርእሲ ናይተ ዕሸል ንድሕሪት መዳይ ኣብ ጎሎ ክመፅእ ከሎ

This is the most common malposition where the baby's head initially engages normally but then the occiput rotates posteriorly rather than anteriorly. A baby that presents in the occipito-posterior position may encounter more difficulties during delivery.

A parasitic vector-borne disease caused by a worm that affects the skin, lymph nodes and the eyes of infected people. It is also called river blindness.

ኣካል ሰውነት ኮይኑ ምሉእነት ሃሊይዎ ባዕሉ ኪኢሉ ዝተወሰነ ስራሕቲ ዝርሕ ኣካል ማለት እዩ

ORS - ኦ ኣር ኤስ

Oral rehydration salts (ORS) are used to prevent or treat dehydration. It is a packet containing sugar and salts in the correct amounts, which the caregiver dissolves in clean drinking water.

ኦ ኣር ስ ማለት ብዓቀን ዝተሓወሰ ሕዋስ ጨውን ሽኮርን ኮይኑ ውፀኣት ንምሕካም ዘጠቅም ንጥረ ነገር ማለት እዩ

Osteoporosis - ኦስትዮፖሮሲስ ወይ ድማ ርቀት ኣዕፅምቲ ደቂ ሰባት እዩ

Softening of the bones due to reduction in the concentration of calcium in the bone. This condition is more common in older persons.

ኦስትዮፖሮሲስ ማለት ብሰንኪ ዋሕዲ ካልሽየም ዝመፅእ ርቀት ኣዕፅምቲ ደቂ ሰባት እዩ

Outbreak - ለበዳ

A sudden breaking out or occurrence e.g. of a disease/epidemic.

በድንገት ዝመፅእ ሕማም ለበዳ እዩ

Ovaries - ኦቫሪ ማለት ኣካል ማህፀን እዩ

The recommended uterotonic drug to induce labor and to control postnatal hemorrhage.
