Red eye (conjunctivitis) - Yeux rouge (Conjonctivite)
English :Redness in the white part of the eye (conjunctiva).

Purulent discharge from the eye / sticky eye - Écoulement purulent de l'œil / œil collant
English :
Gluing of the eye, especially on waking.
Pus (white-yellow-green discharge) draining from the eye is a sign of conjunctivitis. Conjunctivitis is an infection of the conjunctiva (the inner surface of the eyelid and the white part of the eye). If you do not see pus draining from the eye, look for pus on the conjunctiva or on the eyelids. The pus may form a crust when the child is sleeping and seals the eye shut. For physical exam , make sure your hands are clean, open the eye gently and always remember to Wash hands after examining the eye of any child with pus draining from the eye.

Le pus (écoulement blanc-jaune-vert) qui s'écoule de l'œil est un signe de conjonctivite. La conjonctivite est une infection de la conjonctive (la surface intérieure de la paupière et la partie blanche de l'œil). Si vous ne voyez pas de pus s'écouler de l'œil, recherchez du pus sur la conjonctive ou sur les paupières. Le pus peut former une croûte lorsque l'enfant dort et ferme l'œil. Pour l'examen physique, assurez-vous que vos mains sont propres, ouvrez l'œil doucement et n'oubliez pas de vous laver les mains après avoir examiné l'œil d'un enfant qui présente un écoulement de pus.
Bleeding inside the eye - Saignement à l'intérieur de l'oeil
English :Presence of blood inside the eye. The blood can be either in the conjunctiva (conjunctival hemorrhage) or between the cornea and the iris (hyphema)

Clouding of the cornea - Opacification de la cornée
English :
The cornea is the part of the eye that covers the colored part; it is usually clear. When clouding of the cornea is present, the cornea may appear white clouded or hazy. The cornea may look the way a glass of water looks when you add a small amount of milk. The clouding may occur in one or both eyes.
Corneal clouding is a severe condition. It may results from vitamin A deficiency complicated by measles. If not treated, the cornea can ulcerate and cause blindness.

La cornée est la partie de l'œil qui recouvre la partie colorée ; elle est généralement claire. En cas d'opacification de la cornée, celle-ci peut apparaître blanche, nuageuse ou voilée. La cornée peut ressembler à un verre d'eau auquel on aurait ajouté une petite quantité de lait. L'opacification peut se produire dans un œil ou dans les deux.
L'opacification de la cornée est une affection grave. Elle peut résulter d'une carence en vitamine A compliquée par la rougeole. Si elle n'est pas traitée, la cornée peut s'ulcérer et provoquer la cécité.
