• Implement an elimination intervention package to progressively reduce infections and transmission:

    • Ensure highest levels of coverage of basic control and transmission prevention measures;
    • Build information systems that are quality assured and progressively more timely and granular;
    • Clear infections proactively in communities to reduce transmission potential and illness burden; 
    • Address specific mobile populations that may move infection from place to place;
    • Detect and clear infections in individuals in low transmission settings using case investigations;
    • Document and maintain malaria-free areas
  • Address prevention, care, treatment and containment of imported malaria.
